We held our tree day despite the bitterly cold wind and occasional shower. It was great to see students dressed in a colour they loved from the garden. Clothing colours were compared to colour samples collected from the garden.
Some of the learning activities that occurred across the school included, planting the bay leaf tree, potting up salad bowls for a fathers day fundraiser, enjoying a visit from the rabbit, wildlife hunting, banana leaf weaving, drawing trees and exploring using our senses. A sausage sizzle was also enjoyed by students.

All you need is duct tape. Cut the tape so it fits comfortably around your wrist and tape it around like a bracelet, sticky side out. Take a walk and look for small leaves, flowers and other natural artifacts to adorn your wristlets.
